Paint The Foothills features a two-day plein air Painting Competition for Leighton Art Centre members (membership cost: $50/year), several FREE Plein Air Workshops aimed at a range of skill levels including families (pre-registration required), plus a Public Reception for Hey You! Land! and walking is traditional.
Come out to paint & picnic (or just picnic!) at your own pace, go for a walk along our nature trails and take in some truly spectacular views, and be inspired by dozens of talented artists creating on the land, under our big Alberta skies. Be sure to experience the two contemporary art exhibitions in the gallery and don’t miss the shop, featuring the original creations of dozens of Alberta artists and artisans.
